We are on a lake in Central Virginia, and the summer gets hot with high humidity levels. In this case, the boat cover is primary used to keep the dust, bird droppings and insects out while minimizing mildew. I also want to minimize abrasion to the fiberglass.
Hi John,
The answer remains the same inside or out. Breathability in boat cover material is very important in high humidity areas. It sounds like any acrylic will work best for you. The brand names you might look into are sunbrella, recacril, outdura, It would still be a pretty good idea to vent the cover to allow the hot air to escape as quickly as possible. You should be able to find sunbrella in both custom and manufactured covers.
Thanks,
Tammy
