Isinglass over the winter hazards
by: Tammy

Isinglass goes through an aging process just like anything else, so depending on where you are in that natural occurrence it will vary. Your primary concern with winter time is that plastic becomes extremely brittle in the cold, even more so as it ages.
If you move it or attempt to roll it up, it may well crack. If a bird or other object hits it, you stand a chance of cracking. So be very carefully.

Otherwise, other than another year of winter of exposure you should be fine. Leave it snapped for the whole winter to help it stay stable.

On the plus side, a boat enclosure panel that does crack can usually have the isinglass replaced.
At lease most of the time, Some are so cheaply built that the construction of the panel makes it difficult to find something to sew too.
I hope this helps, good luck and stay warm!
